How to change the date format for RoadMap in Jira?

If I create a few epics with a start and end date they display within the RoadMap.

When you hover over the coloured block of an epic it displays a start and end date. E.g. 2019/08/28 [_______] 2019/09/09

This is in the YYYY/MM/DD format and does not respect the time format set with in JIRA settings. Is there a way of changing this to DD/MM/YYYY format?

Hi Austin,

The Next-Gen project type uses The new Jira issue view settings for displaying the data, and there is currently a Bug in the new issue view causing it to not adhere to the global date and time settings that we are tracking at the following link, make sure to add yourself as a watcher to get an update when the bug is fixed:
