Error message when updating license key in an updated version of Jira

Camille Lecerf

Hi,

I have just updated Jira and I have a new license key.
When I pasted the license key in Jira Software area this error message appeared:

"Jira Core must be updated to be compatible with this version of Jira Software."

When I try to copy the license key into Jira Core area, I have this error message:

Could someone tell me what is wrong please ?

Thank you !

Camille

I can confirm the issue: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Upgrade-Jira-8-2-4-quot-Jira-Core-must-be-updated-to-be/qaq-p/1133946

So far, I can't find a solution for it.

Dear @det3 ,

this is not an issue the community can solve - contact the support, please.

Hi Thomas,

I'm on a starter license, so when I plug in my SEN it doesn't allow me to contact support. if the community can't solve it, I'll just have to wait for a new point release with the solution.

Best,

Joe
