How can I get rid of the 'Plan Sprint' button

We are not using Confluence or do not intend to in the near future but we are seeing a "Plan Sprint" button in the backlog view of our projects.  All three options under this button bring up a Confluence reference, free trial.  

We do not want to see this button on our backlogs, how can I remove it or hide it?

We also have that button and never used it, only the "Create Sprint".

The button is displayed because the project was created using a Scrum Template and not Kanban.

Kanban - Monitor work in a continuous flow for agile teams ◦ Suits teams who control work volume from a backlog
