I would like to connect some actions on some states in my workflow for epics.

for example if I move my epics to state close or done, I would like to update the Team name assigned to the epic.

 

Is there any way to do it?

I would appreciate if anyone can share their solution to this.

Hi Maji - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can add a Post Function on the transition to Done that sets the value of a field. 

1. Click on the Transition

2. In the pop up box that appears, click on Post Functions

3. Click on Add post function on the right side.

4. For Assignee, click on Update Issue Field. For another Custom field, click on Update Issue Custom Field.

5. Simply place the values that you want.
