Running into an issue w/Jira: when we tried to auto generate tickets they went to the wrong place

We think it has something to do with the api connection between our data architect and our JIRA because it's also giving us an error in data architect that we "don't have assignable permission OR unassigned issues are turned off."

 

We haven't run into this issue before so any help would be much appreciated.

Your "auto generate" script/process/program is giving Jira a user who does not exist, or cannot be assigned to issues in the project(s) it is trying to create the issues in.

Have a look at the calls to Jira that this process is making, check the user it is trying to assign, and then go look into Jira to make sure the account being used has the "assignable user" permission in the right projects.
