How can you apply issue or project permission and security settings to next-gen projects?

I wanted to apply the security settings we've standardized to next-gen projects but I don't see it in the project settings menu.

Permission and security schemes do not apply to Next-gen projects.  I have a feeling they never will.

Hi, @PVS  thank you for taking the time to answer my question. However, that is not the answer I am seeking.

I'm looking for the ability to apply for Permission and Security settings you create in Project Settings > Permissions or Issue Security so you can use it to next-gen project just as you would the standard projects.

Hi @Brian Kitane

You can remove the capability to create next-gen project.

Go to Jira settings -> System -> Global Permissions. And make modification to the Create Next-gen Projects permission.
