Epics are shown on the Active Sprint view

vzymo@softserveinc.com

For some reason, my Active sprint view shows Epics as swimlanes and stories that are under the epic.
In board config I put "Base Swimlanes on Stories"

In case I add "Issuetype != Epic" in the board filter, they are still displayed.

The sprint field in epic is empty.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi vzymo@softserveinc.com and welcome to the community!

What is your board's complete filter? Knowing that will help to diagnose the issue.

Best regards,

Bill

So it seems nobody has ideas about this issue. Will be investigating this by myself, will post solution if I find one

Hi vzymo@softserveinc.com

Sorry for the delay in responding. Would you please post a pic of what your board is showing? I just tried this with a test board, with various mixes of epics, stories, and subtasks, and I cannot repro what you are describing.

Thanks,

Bill

Hi vzymo@softserveinc.com

Is this a classic or Next Gen board? If Next Gen, I don't know much about that feature set of Jira.

Thanks!

Had the same issue, fixed by removing sprint from epic, dunno if there's another noob like me running around
