The new Jira issue view - lost security options on comments

With the the new Jira issue view we have lost the ability to have internal comments (hidden for client users)

Can you please help, how do we reinstate these security options on comments?

In reviewing Jira's own backlog, the issue is being worked on and as of November 5, they say it should be rolled out soon. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-69231

Looking forward to regaining this functionality!
