Adding fields to issues

Question

We would like to know how to add the Field "Deadline" to all the issues (regardless the project), so that anyone creating a project could add the deadline easily.

So far, we found how to do it project by project and we changed the default option, but we can't seem to find and option to change all the issue options at once.

Is there any way to do it?

That is right, new screens are created, but if all your projects must use the same screens for an issuetype, then you should change this default configuration and assign the same screens to this issue type. Administration of your Jira will be easier for you.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there a way to have just one screen scheme for all the projects? Every time we create a new project there are two screens created by default only for that project.

This are our first steps with Jira, so we are just sorting things out.
