Importing creating date using API or Import CSV

Question

using REST API I am able to migrate tickets from Assembla to JIRA, but one problem that I am facing is related with Created and Update date, theses date are of date & time when tickets created on JIRA not the original from Assembla

Can I create a ticket with original Created and Update date using REST API?

or

I can import after that to correct the dates using CSV importer?

NOTE:  Using JIRA Cloud instance.

Hi @Prashant Bhosale

"created date" can be set only when importing to Jira by csv, and only if the issue not exist.

In your case your issues exist already from the API, now the csv will not help you.
