Unable to complete a sprint even when with the correct permissions required.

Good Day

I have 2 users who are having a bit of trouble on our JIRA when it comes to completing Sprints. They have the permission to Manage Sprints and they are admin on the board level. I have even tried to make the filter simplified but that did not work ether.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are they able to see "Complete sprint" link on the board? Can you elaborate or share screenshot of the problem to better understand.? Also, you can check the below link, if it helps:

I would check if they have (Schedule Issues permission and Edit Issues permission)

if that didn't work, I would try adding them as Project Administrators in the Users and Roles and see if that works

For me the option is visible and blue, but for the two other users it is greyed out, see below:

Thanks for the link, unfortunately it did not help with this problem, I have visited this one before in relation to another board which wouldn't let me complete as there were open issues, but we managed to get it closed.

Ok, as a next step, I would investigate:

Hover over 'Complete sprint' to see the tooltip giving additional information
what's the JQL filter behind the board? Is the filter shared with both of them?
If you are using sub-tasks, check if haven't closed any issues having incomplete sub-tasks associated with them
