Bugzilla Import for Jira Software displays blank screen (no import)

Question

Configured JIRA Software and pointed the Bugzilla Importer to the Running Instance of Bugzilla

After the connection was completed I selected the project to import and mapped the fields, then clicked on Begin Import for the Map Links screen. This results over and over in a blank screen and nothing gets imported

Problem solved after upgrading to the latest version of JIRA 7.1.8 (at this time of writing). It looks like there was a bug to the previous version that was reported here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-61179
