Switch from story point estimation to time estimation in a next gen project

Question

Hello everybody, I am relatively new to Jira and certainly new to next gen release.

I am trying to switch my project from Story point estimation to time tracking but the way that is documented is not how my dashboard works:

Setting estimation statistic and time tracking

* Go to your board, then select more (•••) > Board settings. 
* Click the Estimation tab.

My board only has "manage rules" as a possible menu choice...

Am I doing this wrong?

Any help is appreciated

Doesn't work for me either. That is a basic feature that is absolutely necessary. Can't use next gen for now...please fix estimates.

Hi @Peter Storm,

From what I know Time tracking isn't available yet on Next-Gen projects.. However I know that is somewhere on a short roadmap. You can keep on eye on this page (https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/jira-software#results) to get info when it would be close to be shipped..
