unable to translate locked fields with E2F

I am trying to change Epic to Feature in my instance with use of E2F translator.  When following the process.  I am still not able to translate following fields:

  • Epic Link
  • Epic Name
  • Epic Status
  • Epic Color

I was able to translate:

  • Epic/Theme
  • Issue type Epic to Feature

I have installed/enabled the plugin and followed the steps exactly like I did in staging.  Please help me troubleshot as I am in maintenance window.

 

Jira Version: Data Center 7.10.2

E2F version: Version 2.0.9-jira7  Released 2019-09-04

Hello Jay!

This can usually be solved by clearing out the plugin cache by following these instructions:

  • Uninstall SAFe EPIC to Feature Translator
  • Make sure all other Cprime add-ons are disabled
  • Stop the JIRA instance.
  • Delete JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins and JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins (just these two folders)
  • Restart JIRA.
  • Reinstall SAFe EPIC to Feature Translator
  • Re-enable those other Cprime add-ons
