When you modify a diagram created with the Graphity plugin in Confluence Cloud, you see that the 2 attachments that Graphity creates are updated, and get an additional version.

What I would like to know is if there is an easy way, comparable to the document version history, to

  1. restore a particular version
  2. view a particular version
  3. compare versions

The first two are most important. The 3rd would be nice to have

Hi Tim,

there are two options how you can revert a diagram to an old version.

  • Ask a Confluence admin to revert the attachments to the prior version.
  • Download the desired version of the .graphml file. Then edit the diagram and select Menu -> Import -> "From Local File", choose the downloaded graphml file and save the diagram

Currently, Graphity does not provide in-app support for the different versions of a diagram. To view an old version, download the graphml file as described above and import it in a Graphity editor. You can also open it in our free online editor yEd Live. We plan to add integrated versioning support in the near future.

Currently, two versions of a diagram can only be compared by opening the different graphml files in two editor instances. I've added this feature on our internal backlog though, so there is a chance we might add this feature in a future release.
