How to input xRay Type Test in Create Issue screen

When I create a new issue,
and that new issue is an xRay Test,
and I want to select from my xRay test Types,
Then I should be able to have the Test Type field on the Create Issue screen for Test issue types.

The "Test Type" is editable, and populates with the custom test types for my project, AFTER I create the issue and then navigate to that issue.

How to I provide the Test Type for the Create Issue screen?

As far as I know this is not possible. I tried to add the field to a specific screen but as "Test type" is an xray specific but the create action as well as the screens are native Jira elements this was not possible.

Even the documentation describes it the way you described (see the following link):

I guess there is no propper out of the box solution at the moment.
