Excel4Jira Hierarchy view - what is the hierarchy?

The Ecel4Jira add on offers a 'hierarchy view'.  When I turn it on while looking at a set of Epics (some of which have child tickets), I'm not seeing anything new.

What hierarchical relationship does this view show? Is it stories under an epic? sub-tasks under tasks? How many levels? 

The documentation doesn't show anything more than a very basic screenshot.

Hi Alex,

That hierarchy view function is to display Jira's subtask, Epic Link of Jira Software (Jira Agile), Hierarchy link of WBS Gantt chart for Jira add-ons.

Select the number of items displayed per page as "All" items, and click the "Hierarchy display" button to display the hierarchy.
