jira cloud how to add a "new epic type" to Backlog

I created a new issue Type: Epic-PXXX, its work fine, but i didnt see the epics created in the Backlog.

How can I add them to the backlog?

What type of project are you using? Team-managed? Company-managed? Jira Work Management?

Can you share a screenshot of the Backlog?

Team managed projects can only have one issue type at the Epic level.

I work with the "cloud" team-managed version.
And since I switched from Data Center to Cloud, I am facing difficulties with inheritance and other difficulties I don't understand ...

Team managed projects can only have one issue type at the Epic level.

You should not use the Team-managed project type then. I suggest you try a Company-managed project and you shouldn't have any trouble.
