Why propertyentry table is updated only for specific users

Hello,

I’ve noticed that some user preferences are being saved in the propertyentry table, while others are not. For instance, the jira.issues.preferred.layout.key value for certain users doesn’t reflect their most recent or default view. A user might switch to detail-view, but the database still shows list-view, even though detail-view is loaded when the user logs in.

I also tested this with a newly created user, and there are no records in the propertyentry table at all, even after changing the layout or search mode (between basic and advanced).

For context, I’m looking to use this information to set up users and monitor their preferences.

Appriciate your assistance.

Hi @Ran Ziv

I would suggest to bring this up at Atlassian Support.

It might that some things are changed in the DB model and that old information was stored in that way, but not it's different.
