Hello Atlassian Community,
We are currently facing an issue with Rich Filter Dashboard in Jira, which is showing a warning that some worklogs might be missing from the index. According to the Atlassian documentation, this is because our Jira instance (v9.12.7) is limited to indexing a maximum of 100 worklogs per issue and we have detected issues with a number of worklogs reaching or exceeding this limit. The rich filters: time tracking dashboards need to be able to index all worklogs, and this can be achieved by increasing the limit on the number of worklogs indexed by updating the system property jira.safeguards.indexing.issue.worklogs . However, we are concerned that if we open up the worklog history beyond the default of 100 for all projects it could lead to potential performance issues.
We are looking for a solution to apply this change to a single project. We need advice on whether there is any option or workaround to restrict the increase in the worklog index limit to just one project in Jira.
Best Regards,
