Need way to restrict “Channel Access" so only org admins can use it (company managed JSM projects)

Is it possible to restrict other admins and allow only org admin to change the channel access for JSM company managed projects

if so, please suggest a way
Note: For now, I'm trying to achieve in trial account will perform the same action in paid version

You already get answer in your old Question Post.

Please not multiple them as we already acknowledge you, there's no way to Scope that granulary only to specific role, as that's basic Admin function.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The ability to change Channel Access  will be available to the users who have the Administer Projects permission for that project ant to users who have the global permission to administer the Jira application.

To allow only Organization Admins this permission in a specific Company Managed project you would have to adjust the Permission Scheme to revoke the Administer Project permission from all users other than the Organization Admins.

You would also have to revoke the Jira Application Admin role from all users except Org Admins.

Think about that carefully. That will put the burden of Jira App Administration on your Org Admins. No other users will be able to modify configurations that can be shared between Company Managed projects

Modifying the Permission scheme for the project will also prevent access to other project administration functions in that project, like adding user to project roles. Your Org Admins would also be one responsible for administering any project that uses that permission scheme.

Are you sure you want and need to put all of that responsibility onto your Org Admins?
