How do you sort the order of Priority Groups in the queue settings

I've asked before and was given answers for other things but not what I am specifically asking for. We have about 20 different Priority Groups and I cannot figure out how to sort them. They are not alphabetical, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to how they're sorted. To be clear, I'm not asking how to sort the queues within the group, I'm trying to sort the groups themselves. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hello @NoName

I think when you say you've asked this before you are referring to this post:

https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-Service-Management/Sorting-queue-in-priority-group-list/qaq-p/2864676

I have not found any Sort or Reorder option for the Priority Groups. In my system the seem to be displayed in the same order in which they were created. The only way I found to change the order was to recreate the Priority Groups in the order I wanted.

I found this change request. If you think it matches what you would like I suggest you add your vote to it.

Ability to define the order of the groups in Priority Group

That's definitely not the case for ours as I specifically created them in a certain order, for this reason, and they are not in that order. It almost looks like anytime one gets modified, it moves to the bottom of the list. I don't want to test this theory since people are already annoyed with where they're at currently, but have started memorizing them where they're at. Moving them again would be frustrating.

In my system modifying the groups (either their names or their queues) did not appear to change the order of the display in the left-side panel, but I did not do extensive testing including clearing my browser cache to see if my view had been cached.
