📣 Sign up for Early Access Program (EAP): New Assets Dashboard Experience

Hi everyone!

We’re excited to announce an Early Access Program (EAP) for new Assets dashboard experience. Sign up below to get access and provide direct feedback to our product team, which will go into shaping this feature for everyone! Your existing Assets data and reports will not be affected if you sign up for this program.

What’s the new Assets dashboard experience?

As part of this experience, you will get:

1. A modern flexible canvas to visualise your Assets data on

2. Ability to create custom charts based on objects and attributes with multiple visualisation options

3. Chart based filters to ensure you only see the data you care about

4. Significantly faster performance compared to current reports

Who is eligible for the early access program?

• Customers with a premium or enterprise JSM license

• Users signing up for EAP must have access to existing “Reports” in Assets on their tenant

• Users that are willing to engage with us and provide feedback on this feature

How to sign up for the EAP?

Any assets data, existing saved reports or dashboards created in the new experience will not be lost while opting in or out of the feature. All your Assets data remains intact!

Step 1: Sign up here

Step 2: We will enable the feature on your site in the first week of July and inform you over email.

Once the EAP is activated for your site, head over to the “Reports” section in Assets and click on the “Try New Dashboards” button to load the new experience.

How to opt-out of the new assets dashboards experience?

During the EAP, if you want to access your existing saved asset reports on old experience, you can do so by clicking on the link in the banner as shown below.

FAQ’s

Q. Who can create and view these Assets dashboards during EAP?

During EAP, only Jira admins and site admins will be able to create and view these dashboards. This is similar to the current Assets reports experience. As we move towards GA, we will allow licensed users to create and view these dashboards (and charts in them) based on their role and permissions in Assets. At no point, any user will be able to see data in the dashboard that they don’t already have access to in Assets.

Q. How long will this EAP accept new signups?

This EAP will accept signups till 7 Jul 2025. Atlassian reserves the right to end this EAP earlier if we have received satisfactory levels of customer feedback earlier. Based on the results, the product will then be available as a Beta later.
