×Hi all!
We’re excited to share that the Rovo connector for Jira Data Center is now generally available. In April 2025, we announced that Confluence Data Center joined the Rovo connector family, and now, we’re thrilled to add Jira to the mix.
If your organization runs products on Atlassian Data Center and has a cloud license*, you can tap into Rovo’s AI capabilities through this new connector.
*To use Rovo connectors for Data Center, your organization must have an active Atlassian cloud Premium or Enterprise plan for one of the following products: Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, or Teamwork Collection.
Rovo, Atlassian’s AI-powered offering, enables all teams to harness AI’s potential through personalized enterprise search and chat, out-of-the-box agents, and highly tailored agentic workflows. Rovo connectors for Data Center enable you to connect your Data Center instances of Jira and Confluence into your Rovo knowledge base, which is located in the cloud and powered by the Teamwork Graph.
Break down organizational silos across Data Center and cloud while unlocking cloud value before a full migration as you begin to unleash the power of AI while on Data Center. Rovo will always respect permissions, and users will only ever see content that they already have access to. More on connectors and permissions.
For detailed setup instructions for the Rovo connector for Jira Data Center, please refer to this guide which provides a step-by-step walkthrough. The activation process involves setting up an application tunnel, creating an incoming application link, and configuring the connector in Atlassian Admin.
⚠️ To connect Jira Data Center to Rovo, the minimum required version right now is Jira 11.0 and above, as well as 10.3.10 LTS and later. |
