Need Help Displaying Parent Page Only From Child Page

Zach July 31, 2019

First time posting, upgraded from Confluence 6.6.5 to the Confluence 6.13.4 release. I have reviewed the following help page:

http://confluence-addons.connect.adaptavist.com/page-info/latest/page-info-macro.html#_description

I'm having difficulty discerning the details on the help page (between upgrading), specifically on how the Tiny url is supposed to be displayed because it seems like something changed. I believe some functionality changed during our upgrade however I'm unable to find supporting evidence as I didn't anticipate this feature changing.

Before the upgrade, within the "Page Info" Macro the tiny url was hyperlinked to the title of the page whereas now it is showing the literal tiny url suffix. Are there use cases available for using the suffix of the tiny url as opposed to the page title name?

In the example below, the Title Name of the page (as I recall) used to appear as a hyperlink and not an the suffix of the tiny url link. So instead of "GN0geQ" you would see a user defined page title name such as "Medication Scan Rate" -> user friendly text.

Before and After (as I recall between upgrades - just looking for a alternative workaround

Here is the scenario:

I am using the Page Properties and Page Properties Report macros. One thing I am capturing is the name of the parent page from which this child page is created from (so that I know who owns it - each "team" will create pages underneath their respected team page).

In the example below, I would like to embed some functionality that will call out the parent page (it is always one page above in the tree). In this case, the parent page is "Medication Scan Rate". The crux, is that I want the display output to match the page title name (whereas now it is showing the suffix of the tiny url as displayed above).

Additionally, is there a way for a child page to automatically inherit the parent page label(s) based on the location of the child page (tree)? For example, I placed this page underneath "Point of Care" so is there a macro I use to automatically inherit the "Point of Care" labels?

My workaround is to insert hyperlink link text to change the display value into something more user friendly, I was hoping for a more automated process so that I don't have to insert as much Instructional Text on our page design templates.

Workaround example:
