Hi, and ping...

It is still not possible to registry for this event using a personal email address.  I have received a couple of direct-email reminders for it, although they still lead to the same registration page which errors out when using a non-business email address domain. (e.g., gmail)

Kind regards,
Bill

Hi @BIL - I checked with our webinar team and you'll need to use a business email address domain to register for all Atlassian webinars. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for the follow-up, @Mindy Park   I do not have a business email address and thus cannot register to attend.

@Mindy Park I have a business email address, but that is not the identity I use in this community. I use a Gmail address for that so that my Community activity can stay with me regardless of who my employer is.

It is disappointing that Atlassian limits webinar sign ups to only business emails. If we can use other emails for our Community identities, and you're advertising the webinar in the Community, then it seems like any Community member should be able to sign up for the webinar.

I learned about automating creation of release notes from Jira to Confluence. Going to pass this on to my boss.

Nice overview @Mindy Park and team!

I'll definitely have to try those Confluence Smart Buttons.

This was a great webinar. It covered how automation enhances workflows between Confluence and Jira, including automated release notes, which generate Jira-based summaries upon sprint completion, auto-creating Jira issues from Confluence, linking feature requests, and Smart Buttons, which enable quick actions like issue creation and status updates. The automation use cases I’m most interested in are streamlining sprint documentation, automating feature request tracking, and simplifying manual tasks with Smart Buttons to improve efficiency.

Having this webinar would be very helpful to Jira and Confluence admin like me. Though i was already using Automation on Jira Service Management, this shows me the capability on having automation on Jira and Confluence which I haven't explored more. The auto creation of release notes is very helpful for I gathered some ideas on how I would setup the one in our organization

Hi everyone,
webinar was a nice overview of the possibilities, but we are already using a lot of automation and is there something that goes way deeper into the details. Other webinars?

Interesting Topics would be, how to update automatically information from one ticket to another ticket in a completely different project. Like syncing those but predefined what should be synced.

And how to link a Service Desk deeper with a development project.

Thank you for the webinar! We were already using automations for JSM, Jira and Confluence, but I wasn't aware I could create automations that link the different products. That was very nice. Plus it was interesting to see the upcoming feature 'Playbooks'!

Thank you for a great webinar. Our company is using automations but it was great for myself to learn more about these and how they work within the platform.

Thanks for the webinar. It was very interesting and useful to see how automation is set up live and how to use the smart buttons that simplify the work in Jira. I'm taking a couple of ideas for myself to try.
