We’re excited to share an update that will help you get even more out of Confluence whiteboards! We’ve increased the limit for Confluence Standard from 3 to 10 active whiteboards per user.
New: Confluence Standard is changing from a limit of 3 to now support up to 10 active whiteboards per user.
Who is impacted: Confluence Standard users
When does this take effect: Immediately
We’ve heard your feedback and know teams need more active whiteboards to collaborate effectively. This update is designed to help teams scale their knowledge base and work more efficiently in Confluence.
No action is required on your end. The new limit will be applied automatically to all standard user accounts.

A: No, this will not have any impact on your billing or subscription.
Q: What happens if I reach the new limit?
A: The limit is for 10 active Whiteboards. You can archive or delete any inactive Whiteboards. If you need additional active Whiteboards, consider upgrading to Confluence Premium, which includes unlimited active Whiteboards and more advanced features (advanced Jira integrations with smart sections and smart connectors, and advanced diagramming shapes).
