π Hi community! Iβm Laura from the Confluence product team, and I'm excited to share that Confluence slides powered by Rovo is now generally available.
How many hours have you wasted creating a deck from scratch β from copy and pasting content in from various docs, to figuring out the right slide order, to formatting each text box, to matching font colors, and the list goes on and on. What if Rovo could help you go from doc to deck in seconds?
With Confluence slides, now it can. Simply describe what presentation you want, and Rovo pulls context from across Atlassian and connected third-party apps like Slack and Google Drive to create impactful, visual presentations grounded in your teamβs work.
Even better, youβre able to collaborate and present your slides directly in Confluence, without having to switch between different apps.
Letβs see it in action (and make sure to try it today β‘οΈ slides.rovo.com)!
1. Select Create in the top navigation, then Slides β or go directly to slides.rovo.com.
2. Write a prompt describing what you want to create. Add any links or reference materials to better give Rovo context on information to pull into the slides.
3. Watch Rovo do its magic as Rovo generates a full draft of your presentation in your private preview area, complete with formatting and charts.
4. Review the draft, then make quick edits yourself or use Rovo Chat to refine the slides, such as changing the tone, condensing copy, or adding a new slide.
5. Select Add to Confluence to save your deck to a space and share with your team.
6. When ready, click Present to enter a fullscreen presentation mode to present directly from within Confluence.
Your slide deck is a Confluence content item with the same permissions and sharing options as any page or live doc. See more details here.
Open any Confluence page or live doc you want to transform.
Select Remix with Rovo from the floating toolbar on the bottom right of the page or live doc.
Choose Slides as your output format.
Follow steps 3-6 from above.
Not sure what to ask Rovo? Try these real-world prompts:
Team kickoff
β "Create a project kickoff deck from this project plan <link to project plan page>. Include the problem we're solving, our approach, key milestones, who owns what, and open questions for the team. Create a visual timeline for the project milestones."
Campaign recap
β "Turn this campaign results page into a recap deck for stakeholders <link to campaign results page>. Lead with the numbers, show what worked and what didn't, and close with recommendations for next time. Create charts to help visualize the metrics on this Google spreadsheet <link to Google sheet>."
Pitch deck
β "Build a customer pitch deck for X customer based on these notes <link to customer account notes>. Use this customer deck as a template, and match its slide layout, typography, and spacing <link to template>."
