Cannot create a new repo

When I login to bitbucket, I do not have admin permissions and the person who had admin permissions has left the firm.

How do I get admin permissions?

Often it's easiest to...

• Get your IT Team to reactivate the previous Admin's email address
• Reset their Atlassian account password (if needed)
• Login and set your own user account as an Admin

we tried doing that. However, bitbucket asked to create a new username. and hence could not access the existing repository

is there any way we can identify which email has admin rights on the repository?
