Hi @julioxx22

The  Rovo MCP server is actually available to all Atlassian Cloud customers at no additional cost. There's no separate license or add-on to purchase for it. You just need an Atlassian Cloud site.

The only thing that varies by plan is the rate limit:

  • Free plan: 500 API calls per hour
  • Standard plan: 1,000 calls per hour
  • Premium / Enterprise: 1,000 base calls per hour, plus 20 additional calls per user (up to 10,000/hour max)

For Bitbucket specifically — Atlassian announced MCP server support for Bitbucket Cloud recently (details here: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/bitbucket/the-atlassian-rovo-mcp-server-now-supports-bitbucket-cloud). It gives you a pretty solid set of tools through Claude Code: browsing repos and branches, reading file contents, creating and reviewing pull requests, leaving comments, approving and merging PRs, and even checking pipeline runs and deployment status.

To get it set up, your org admin needs to enable API token authentication through Admin Hub > Rovo > Rovo MCP Server settings. Once that's done, you configure it in your MCP client (Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, etc.) and you're off. Setup walkthrough is here: https://www.atlassian.com/platform/rovo-mcp

A couple of things worth noting — right now it requires an org-linked Bitbucket Cloud workspace (not every workspace qualifies), and authentication is API token only. OAuth support is on their roadmap but not available yet.
