We’re excited to share a new update that makes working in Bitbucket even more seamless: Rovo Dev CLI in beta!

Rovo Dev agents built by Atlassian for software developers to turbocharge their daily workflows, and is now available directly for use in your terminal via the Command Line Interface (CLI).

This integration brings the power of Rovo Dev’s natural language capabilities into one of the most familiar environments for developers enabling faster, smarter coding without leaving the command line. Rovo Dev CLI lets you manage pull requests, review code, and handle branches without having to leave your terminal. Less context switching means more time focused on shipping quality code.

You can connect MCP servers to Rovo Dev, for example, to integrate with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket to manage a work item from start to finish. From retrieving web data to pushing code updates, all in the terminal, no manual coding required.
