Is it feasible to create cross-space automations?

I would like to create an automation rule that takes inputs from one space and uses them to add comments to another space.  But it seems like I can only create rules that add comments in the same space as the page was added.

Is what I want to do feasible if I have admin permissions to both spaces, but not super-admin persmissions to all spaces?

Hello @Tamara Fine-Skversky

Does this concern Confluence Spaces or Jira Spaces (formerly known as Projects)?

In both products you must be a Product Administrator for the product in order to create automation rules that get information or execute actions against multiple spaces in a single rule.

A user that is only an admin for individual spaces/projects can create rules only scoped for a single space per rule. If you are not a Product Admin, then you cannot create rules that operate against multiple spaces, even if you are an administrator for each of the individual spaces.

Hi @Tamara Fine-Skversky

Welcome to the community.

Regarding your question, this seems to evolve around Confluence.

You need to be Confluence admin, and then via the admin settings, automation, you can create rules that cover all spaces or multiple spaced

@Tamara Fine-Skversky You can create the global automation and then select multiple spaces. Use the branches for the linked issues and then you can add the cross space comments
