We’re excited to unveil a refined export experience in Viewtracker – Analytics for Confluence Cloud. This update makes it easier, quicker, and more efficient to generate reports, particularly when handling extensive data sets.
How the New Export Process Works 🛠️
With this latest update, you’ll find an improved Export Overview that provides real-time status updates on your export tasks. Whether an export is queued, currently processing, or ready for download, you can track its progress in one central location. This allows you to continue working uninterrupted while your data is being processed. If you need to export a substantial dataset, you can return to the overview and download your CSV file once it’s prepared. Completed exports remain available for 48 hours, allowing multiple downloads within that period.

You now have the choice to export only content and space IDs instead of their full names. This helps protect sensitive information and speeds up the process.

If you choose to include content and space names in your export, the system will verify user permissions before making the data available. While this adds a slight delay, it ensures compliance with access controls.

Your recent exports from the past 48 hours are conveniently displayed, making it easy to track and manage your data downloads.
