upgrade from jira 6.0.3 to 7

Our company is using JIRA server + agile plugin.

We want to upgrade to version 7 where agile is embedded into the main product, but are not sure how the agile plugi data may be affected?

Is there any document about this, what is the proper procedure?

Your Agile data will be upgraded as you go through the process.

I would upgrade 6.0 to 6.4, then go to 7.

We are using Jira 6.0.3 with database MySQL 3.0.95, planning to reach jira 7.9, Is it required to upgrade MySQL as well?
