Is there a way to remove the editing of target dates for specific issue type in planning

When I create a plan in cloud jira, it still required me to give target dates, Is there a way we can remove those for only target dates, since we would like to inherit those dates from child. 

Any alternative is appreciated.

There is not a way to remove those and make is so individuals cannot update them.
