Why is Automation blank?

Whenever I open an automation tab (either through the lightning bolt or the sidebar) the screen goes blank, leaving just the board's background.

It's as if (and this is pure speculation from an amateur programmer) all of the elements were deleted, but then no new elements were added. (e.g. forEach(element in page){html.page.element.delete}

I can easily exit it with a button to any other page, but for some reason, only the automation page seems to dislike me.

@Alexander McClure welcome to the community! I don't get the same result; the modal appears as expected for me. Can you try using a different browser, or an incognito browser? Maybe your cache/cookies need clearing, or it could be a chrome extension that's getting in the way.
