I’ve encountered an issue where markdown links in task lists of a Trello card that point to Obsidian resources do not work. Here is an example of a markdown link to an Obsidian resource:

[My Link](obsidian://open?vault=SuperVault&file=ASpecificNode)

This link should open a specific file in Obsidian, but is not functioning as expected (not rendered as link). Is this a known issue or a bug?

Thank you!

Hi Tschaena, welcome to the Atlassian Community!

With recent architectural enhancements to improve the card's back experience on Trello, we changed our Markdown parsing logic to align with other Atlassian products. As a result of these changes, local link protocols are unfortunately no longer supported.

We've created a feature suggestion to add this functionality back to Trello, which you can access hereTRELLO-677

I would also recommend you to visit that suggestion, log in with your Atlassian account, and click Start watching this issue on the right panel. This will help our product and engineering team understand more about which functionalities our users are interested in. Also, when the ticket is updated by our product team, you'll be notified via email.
