I have created Board template to share with people in my industry that include Butler automation rules. I understand these are not automatically copied when someone creates a board from the template, but is there a way to share these automations? They will be outside of my workspace. So, the rule library doesn't help.
Is there a way to copy/paste or share these for the new user to add to their board?
Thanks!
Hi @Paige Acton
As someone who uses Trello automation to build solutions for people, this is a pain I have encountered many times.
I'd love if Trello included Automations being copied with boards.
Of course this only works if all automations are in a library:

I would recommend making 1 library for 1 board and name it something relevant to the board to make it easier for the people you are sharing it with
Thanks Mike! This is a clever work around. So, do you think it would be beneficial to have the board templates and automation library set in that workspace? Or, you provide the link for the template and then add them to that workspace to copy the automation library over? Appreciate your insight!

Hi @Paige Acton and welcome to the community,
Unfortunately there isn't any other way, at least not out of the box. You may want to try to screen capture your rules and just send them. But export/import is not supported in Trello like it is in Jira.

That's what I was afraid of... Appreciate the input tho! Do you think this is an update trello will make in the future? Thanks!
