I have created an automation that once a checklist is completed in one list, creates a new card in another list. However, I would like to populate the custom field of the new card with that populated in the old card. In my case the custom field is 'Client Name'. Is that possible?

Aaron,

Here's a good example of what you're trying to do. The key is instead of setting the field, to copy the field from the current (or trigger) issue.2791944.png
