I don't have the button to create a new workspace anymore.
It simply disappeared.
Why?
Hi Damy! We are running an experiment at the moment which means some users may no longer see "Create Workspace" in the universal create but instead will see it in their user dropdown.
When will the 'Create a workspace' button be available again? I'm currently unable to create a new workspace because the button is missing.

Hl lqra!
I am sorry you are experiencing a problem. The create workspace action has moved to the profile (click your profile picture) dropdown (instead of the universal create dropdown).

There is no drop down menu button or any button at all to create a workspace anymore. I just deleted multiple workspaces and cannotv re-create them, neither create a new one or see anything of what I did there in the activity log.
Pls help

Hi! I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The Create Workspace button has moved to the user profile dropdown in the top navigation (see screenshot below). Please let me know if it is not appearing or contact Trello Support for additional help.

I see the "create workspace" in the dropdown menu when I'm using the browser. But not when I'm in the app on my iPad or phone. Am I just missing it somewhere?

Hmmm very weird, very sorry about that! Any way you could post a screenshot?

This is my phone (Samsung S22), using the Trello app. The problem seems to be with the app. The "create workspace" is there when I'm on my computer, using the browser, but not when I'm using the app on my ipad or phone.

Hi @Shelly Platt! I talked to our mobile team and confirmed that workspace is not available across any of our mobile apps. In order to create a new workspace it needs to be done from the web browser on your phone, ipad, or computer. This has always been the case (not a recent change).

So how do I create a workspace if I don’t have that button anywhere, not even under the profile pic? Can’t free users create workspaces anymore?

Hi @Greatdee! Hmm every user should be able so see the "create workspace" button in the profile dropdown. Could you post a screenshot of your profile dropdown?

@Greatdee thank you for sharing the screenshot! Could you share what platform you are currently using (web browser, app, etc) and the type of device (Ipad, computer, etc)? This will help me get to the bottom of why you are not seeing the create workspace button.

@Alexandros Mathopoulos Please. Move it somewhere else. It's really not that easy. if i hadn't seen the answers to this question, i'd never have found it. the tutorials weren't up to date, it's been years since i used trello, and now i'm back and it's not a very pleasant UX.

Hi! I am very sorry that you had difficulty finding the way to create a workspace - that is definitely not our intention! While at this point we have no plans to move it to another location (we did extensive experimentation to place it in this new location) we appreciate the feedback and will make sure to get our documentation updated.
Again, thank you for the feedback - we really appreciate it!

@Online Nk are there any particular docs you saw out of date? We just did a quick audit and saw that our support article on how to create a new workspace has already been updated to reflect this change: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/creating-a-new-workspace/
Appreciate any help to identify which of our docs are out of date!
