Hallo everybody,
we want to become an official Atlassian Partner. We've studied the Program Details here: https://www.atlassian.com/de/partners/join#solution-partners
I'm a little bit confused about the requirements to enter the program. When I see the silver program, I have two questions regarding this:
1) It says there has to be at least 1 person holding an Atlassian Sales
Professional Accreditations and 1 person holding an Atlassian Technical Sales
Professional Accreditations. Is this one person at all, or are these at least two people, one per Accreditation?
2) It says these Accreditations have to be hold. But in the next section there's this text: New Partners enter the program in what we call an Access capacity. Access allows your team to complete the onboarding tasks required within your first 90 days as a Partner, leverage the information within the Partner Portal, and gain the needed sales and technical solution skills to progress to a higher program level.
-> For my understanding I can reach the Accreditations during these 90 days. Is this correct? Or do I have to hold them BEFORE entering the program?
--> If I have to hold them: How can I reach them?
Thank you very mouch!
Hannes
Hello @Hannes
The form to fill in to join the Partner Program is here. Once you join the partner program you get access to the Accreditation courses. You will have 90 days for at least one person in your organisation to meet the requirements of Atlassian Technical Sales
Professional Accreditation.
I'm not sure why Atlassian also requests for someone to hold an Atlassian Sales
Professional Accreditation as by fulfilling the requirements for technical Sales you earn this along the way.
It is important to know that you need 2 Atlassian Certifications at this time to complete the Atlassian Technical Sales Professional Accreditation requirements. It would be an intense 3 months of you needed to complete the accreditation and both certifications within 90 days.
I have 2 ACP certification still I got an email that they will reject my partnership request. Why is that so?
I am fulfilling whatever is mentioned on Atlassian site, still I am not getting approval.
Please help.

@Vikash Kumar - I do not work for Atlassian so I cannot help you.
My advice is to respond to the email your received to ask why your request was rejected.

They are not replying to my email after the last and the only email I got from them about they will decline my registration. Looks like the criteria on their site is just to show, but in reality, it depends on the individual support person how their mood is... ;)
Well, no harm starting looking outside: https://www.jetbrains.com/space/.

Hi Vikash,
Thanks for your interest in the partner program. I've checked with our Channel team and explanations were provided in reply to the application and additionally by our support team. There are additional considerations beyond the certification requirements; please review the communications you received for more details.
All the best,

@Daniel Eads Well, that's what I am also saying the only reply I got which does NOT explain what they mean? Here are my 3 attempts to followup with your support team with no luck.
It would have been far quicker and easy if I would have gotten the reply I expected so that I could focus on the gap and reapply again.
