In Next-gen issues is there a way to have a Start and a Stop button to record time spent on issues? Work descriptions can be added after the work log is saved.
Jira does not offer it for sure.
You can try Clockwork Pro or Clockwork Free offered by my team. It does exactly what you need (offers the Start/Stop timer button) as well as a bunch of other useful things.
