We use QMetry along w/ JIRA. We have several Classic boards where the standard QMetry issues types are displayed (Test Case, Test Run, etc). However, we don't have those issue types in our Next Gen board. Is this expected? It appears as though the QMetry issue types are enabled. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Hi Rich DuBose,
Currently, JIRA's next-gen projects does not support any other issue type association, it only supports JIRA's native issue types; Hence, as a result, you can't use QMetry issues (''Test Case", "Test Scenario", "Test Run") and other QMetry functionality on it. Furthermore, it doesn't support reusing issue type as per this JIRA's help document related to the next-gen projects which will hinder the QMetry Add-On's effectiveness.
I hope it helps.
Thanks & Regards,
Faizan | QMetry Support
