Is there a way to import EPIC?

It's very handy to import issues. But organizing issues around EPICs takes quite some time. Is there any way to import EPICs together with issues?

Dear @Yi Dong,

another way, without plugins, is to import your csv file with a couple of simple script that make use of the REST API. There you can create issues with parent/epic relations.

Of cause this will require little coding skills in one of the scripting languages like PHP, python or perl.

So long

Thomas

Thanks Thomas. I couldn't code, but I could try later.

Hello Yi Dong,

You can use the Structure for JIRA add-on to perform this operation, as you can see in the answer below:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Can-I-import-Epics-and-Stories-together-in-one-CSV-file/qaq-p/665219

Thanks Petterson.  I'll try this later if we decide to go with Jira.
