Filetypes Available for Preview?

Question

Is there an issue on the roadmap to expand the amount of attachment filetypes available for preview in Jira Next-Gen?  As of right now only images and PDF have that functionality, but excel and word documents require the user to download the file in order to see it.

Hi Andrew,

Currently, it's not possible to preview MS Office files or other types of files, for example, the files created on OpenOffice. This is for all projects and not specifically for next-gen.
