Can I change the color of the states in a JIRA next generation project?
Answering Bryan's Q. Grouping a bunch of states in the Status help to tell if it is in Open or Close state, eg.
Status: New, Assigned, DEV delivered, QA in Progress, Worked as Design, Verified, etc
Color Blue on DEV delivered, Worked as Design - Closed state
Color Greg on New, QA in Progress, Need Info - Open state
Able to do the color category in Status in Classic but not in next-gen
@mleong Thanks for the feedback, we are actively working on introducing the workflow editor to next-gen. You will definitely be able to define the three status categories then.
For now, the first column is a "To-do" status category = grey; middle columns: "In Progress" = blue; and Done = green

Hey @diego ,
My name is Bryan Lim and I'm a Product Manager on Jira Software Next-gen. Unfortunately, we don't allow the changing of status category colors. If you had the ability to change colors of status categories, what would you do with it?
Thanks,
Bryan
