Hi,
We have configured the slack integration with statuspage. We have selected the option to receive notifications when a component's status changes. Below is an example notification:
How can I modify the message to remove or modify the text "Key 0 (************d045)*"?
Best,
Chris Sankat
Hi Chris,
This is Jesse from the Statuspage support team. Welcome to the community and thanks for the question about Slack messages.
These Slack notifications come from the apps section on Statuspage and follow the Slack Integration documentation. Because this Slack integration posts any activity log update, you can't modify or remove the API Key messaging. It's meant for team members to see who and what has changed.
If you are looking to have general notifications sent to a user base, you might consider using the Slack subscription instead. If you have a public page, this would not show who made changes.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about the two different ways to interact with Slack.
Regards,
Jesse
Hi Jesse,
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. Can you please forward this as a product request? We would really appreciate the ability to modify the notification text and am sure other customers would also appreciate it.
Best,
Chris Sankat

Hi Chris,
It looks like we have a request for this so I have added this community post to show more interest in the customizations. Right now, this ticket, STATUS-650, is in a status of "not being considered." With more requests, this might be something the team can consider for the future. Thanks for your interest in this!
Regards,
Jesse
