As a incident manager I am looking at whether or not Confluence, status page is the right option for us.
We are currently looking to change systems from an internally managed notification system and would need to transfer those who have opted in to received notifications into our new status page.
Problem: Can I upload bulk contacts to be subscribers of a status page?
Hi,
Yes, Atlassian's Statuspage allows for bulk uploading of contacts to be subscribers of your status page. This can be very useful when transitioning from an internally managed notification system. Here’s a general outline of how you can do this:
1. Prepare Your Contact List:
- Ensure your contact list is in a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file format. The CSV should include necessary fields like email addresses and names, depending on what information you want to import.
2. Access Statuspage:
- Log in to your Atlassian Statuspage account.
3. Navigate to Subscribers:
- Go to the "Subscribers" section in the Statuspage admin interface.
4. Bulk Import:
- Look for an option to import subscribers. This is usually found under the "Manage Subscribers" section.
- Select the option to upload a CSV file.
- Follow the instructions to upload your CSV file. You might need to map the columns in your CSV to the appropriate fields in Statuspage.
5. Verify and Confirm:
- After uploading, verify that the contacts have been correctly imported.
- You may need to confirm the import or run a test notification to ensure everything is working as expected.
Hoping that this helps.
Regards
Howard
