I have a client that is able to make comments internally in JIRA through JIRA Servicedesk. But we don't want the client to be able to make comments internally, but only comment on external comments. How can we set this up?
Change their permissions on the project. It's either the permission scheme for the project that has been amended to include customers or that they are in the user role on the project either named or in a group. You may want to amend the permission scheme to only allow people in a different role to make comments or remove them from the user role for that project.
