Atlassian was founded in Sydney in 2002 by Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar, and was inspired by Atlas, the ancient Greek Titan

Atlas, whose role in life was to prevent the sky from falling by holding it up, providing an incredible service to the world. Atlassian strives to provide that same level of "Legendary Service" to each and everyone of our customers.
